Multiple Muse Disorder: 1970

    . . . the light novel

The Multiple Muse Disorder arc of our Out of phase tomboy web comic has slowly evolved into a written story. Because of Lisa's age and a few health problems, she can't do a regularly updated web comic any longer, so this story has become an illustrated novel, a so-called 'light novel' intended for easy reading.

We're working on the novel offline, with the intent that it will be made available on the web here and as an ePub on Lulu. Lisa met Risa and Resu right here in the web comic, but the written story will be told differently than the comic, and will begin more like here. Here's how the written story currently begins, and here are a few more rough sketches.

"Let us tell you a story."

There's no definite timeline for completing the novel. This is simply a project we're doing so that Lisa has a reason to wake up in the morning.

The comic and novel are on the web because that's where everything is these days, and making an ePub from a set of web pages is trivially easy, so we write in HTML.

We're not expecting anyone to actually read our story, but if you do, you can contact Risa and Resu via their LiveJournal. Please be kind to them.
